Our team

The Western Gateway STB is led by the Western Gateway STB Board, has an agreed constitution and is supported by three groups of officers:

  • The Western Gateway STB Senior Officer Group (SOG)
  •  The Western Gateway STB Programme Management Team
  • The Western Gateway STB Transport Officer Group (TOG)

Senior Officer Group (SOG)

This group comprises senior officers from the Constituent Authorities. It provides expertise and recommendations to the Board and oversees delivery of the work programme.

Programme Management Team

This team consists of officers from the Constituent Authorities. It is kept under review and can vary according to the work programme and funding available. As a minimum the team includes:

  • National STB Liaison and Partnership Lead
  • Secretariat / Accountable Body Lead
  • STB Programme Manager
  • Technical Programme Lead(s)
  • Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Lead

Transport Officer Group (TOG)

This group is composed of transport officers from the Constituent Authorities. It provides technical insight during the delivery of the work programme and maintains local representation during the production of the regional evidence base.
