Western Gateway secures Department of Transport funding<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

On 6th<\/sup> August 2020, the Transport Minister Baroness Vere wrote to us to confirm a conditional grant of \u00a3425k to support the development and delivery of our transport strategy and other core functions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funding received will enable our STB to continue developing an evidence led investment plan, driven by a Transport Strategy which has political and business support from across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u00a3425k funding secured from the DfT will contribute towards area studies in the Western Gateway area this financial year (2020-2021) on Decarbonisation, Strategic Corridor Studies, Alternative Fuels and on a Strategic Bus and Coach Strategy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
