Western Gateway and our neighbouring STB, Peninsula Transport, are pleased to share the recently published South West Freight Summary Report. This report highlights the activities undertaken by STB officers throughout 2024 and 2025.
Freight continues to be an important area of work for the two STBs, as it is often overlooked by public bodies but is in fact a crucial part of the south west economy.
Together, the two STBs continue to host the South West Freight Forums, with the next meeting scheduled for 29 January 2026.
