Issues and opportunities for the Strategic Transport Plan 2025-2050

Western Gateway STB’s vision is to speak with one regional voice to design a long-term investment programme that will deliver a well-connected, clean, resilient and reliable strategic transport system that creates opportunities, boosts productivity and provides a better quality of life for people across the region.

As we prepare to develop our Strategic Transport Plan up to 2050, ‘Making the right choices’ sets out the issues and opportunities facing transport planning in our region and asks your views on what Western Gateway STB’s priorities should be as we work to develop this long-term plan.

We are asking for responses to five key questions that will determine if the right issues and opportunities have been considered and what the priorities should be for the region.   

The engagement period closes on 19th May 2023.
